Great to have another option in St. Clair with this new establishment, to be beside the ocean is always great and Salt did its self justice, fitting right in to the environment with a classy yet relaxed atmosphere. The renovations have been done extremely well with an Art Deco theme. Only went for breakfast but thoroughly enjoyed the food, coffee and atmosphere, so I will definitely be back.

This place is pretty cool. Nice art deco style mixing the best of old with new. Went down with a few friends for brunch to check it out as it i think it only opened this week. The place looks really classy.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The meals took a little while to come out even though we were the only ones there. However when they did come out they were excellent. One of the better brunchs i have had for a while.

The place seemed to be catchn on as number of people arrived while we were there, creating a really nice relaxed vibe.

We had a great seat by the fire and the morning sun was streaming through the window, it was a great place to unwind on a sunday morning. I think this place is a great addition to the St Clair area.

Overall a very disappointing meal.
The Seafood Chowder was very watery not even a little bit creamy.
The diced vegetables were not cooked through and were still crunchy.
The main course did not get any better. I had the mussels which were over cooked and very tough. Once again the sauce was very watery and did not adhere to the mussels so little if any flavor was picked up by the mussel meat.
This was one of the worst restaurant seafood meal I’ve had. If fact it was below that I would expect from a food court
Perhaps seafood is just not Salts forte and they probably should have left if off the menu especially when their new and trying to establish a reputation.
